This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.
This is the entry-level qualification to work as a mechanic or to work in an automotive workshop in Australia. You will learn the basic skills required to work safely and effectively in an environmentally sound and economically profitable enterprise.
This qualification can be packaged with higher-level qualifications in automotive. Refer to the description of our other automotive courses to understand how.
